Today she saw the opthamologist. He says her eyes are fully mature, and show no sign of retinopathy.
Yay!
This afternoon the visiting nurse stopped by.
She wrapped Nina up in a blanket to weigh her (she used a scale with a hook that went through the knot).
Cute, huh?
Turns out Nina is about 6 pounds, 10 ounces!
She gained almost a pound in one week!
Actually, it's not surprising given how much this little girl likes to eat!

I mailed a package to you today and now know that I will order the regular size Weego baby carrier...you will LOVE it, Dawning! You lived in the original Snugli I had for you...and we went everywhere...in Kayak's crossing the bay, berry picking and hiking along the beaches of Port Alexander! You were always warm and cozy all snuggled in that carrier!
