Here's little Nina, snug as a bug in a rug. We just finished visiting with her. She's so sweet, it's really hard to leave her. She sleeps like... well, like a baby!
Here's a photo we just received from Dawning's friend, Mariah, who was with us to witness the birth. When Nina was born, the doctors whisked her across the room to a little table under a heat lamp. They immediately wrapped her in plastic and gave her a tube to help get oxygen into her lungs (standard procedure for preemies). A few moments later, Dawning was able to stand up and come over to see her. This is a photo of the first time Dawning laid eyes on our little girl. Priceless.

Dawning, the look on your face is priceless. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing your own child for the first time. God bless you guys and thank you for sharing these photos with me.
